The Opportunity

The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing new business for SharpSpring, with both agencies and end user clients in Germany. In this role, you will have close interaction with the account management, marketing and the executive teams. The Sales Manager will be responsible for achieving quarterly and annual sales targets. On a day-to-day basis, the manager will respond to inbound leads and prospect and network to create additional leads.

The Responsibilities

Generate new business from prospective clients. You will be given direct leads/prospects for development and will also be expected to aggressively develop your own prospects
Identifying prospective clients marketing automation and email marketing needs and present solutions that meet those needs
Use consultative selling to outline an ongoing multi-product solution to increase ROI from the email channel of your prospects
Promote our products to prospects
Give product demos and write effective proposals that address the needs of prospects and outline a profitable solution for them and us
Negotiate contract terms for long term relationships
Contribute to account planning process to ensure successful development of clients
Provide market intelligence to the organization
Manage a pipeline of prospects to achieve quarterly and annual targets
The Person

University degree or equivalent
5-7 years of sales experience
Fluent in English
German mother tongue
Excellent power of comprehension
Confident Presentation skills
Excellent communication skills
Strong consultative selling approach
Ability to manage the sales cycle
Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
Sales process management, negotiation and analysis skills
Strong technical background (in email) and ability to speak to technology and marketing buyers
