Edward Snowden, former CIA strategist and world-famous whistleblower, will join two other panellists at a just-added Acronis night.TALK.
Titled “Rethinking Privacy After Safe Harbor”, the session focuses on the recent dramatic changes to EU/US privacy laws. Mr Snowden is joined on the panel by Thomas Rickert from the Eco – Association of the Internet Industry and John Zanni from Acronis. Together they will discuss what the changes mean for the international business community.
The opening act for this nightTALK will be a recorded video message from Günther H. Oettinger, European Commissioner for the Digital Economy and Society. Mr. Oettinger will address the EU’s view on the EU-US Privacy Shield agreement.
