Within a lot of literature the three-dimensional thinking, Strategy => Tactics => Operations, is reduced to two dimensions only, Strategy => Operations. It is not clear, whether literature influences daily corporate practice, or daily corporate practice influenced literature. But such consideration is not important. Important are the differences in two- and three-dimensional processes.
